Are you a whizz with electricals? Can you wield a screwdriver like a pro? Get in touch if you'd like to volunteer your skills! Or if you want to know more about our repair cafes, or aren't sure if your broken item is something we can help with, drop us a line.
What happens at our Repair Cafes?
Do you have household items that have seen better days? Come along to one of our Repair Cafes at Wem Library between 10:00-12:00 on a Saturday morning (for dates see panel) and see if our volunteers can give them a new lease of life. Tea, coffee, snacks and conversation available while you wait.
We can repair clothing and textiles, small electricals, wooden items, soft toys, bicycles, mechanical items, and furniture. If you're not sure whether we'll be able to fix your item, come along and we'll do our best, or at least try and point you in the right direction. Or you can drop us a line on our Contact Form, and ask before you come.
Donations welcome!
At our Repair Cafe in February this year, our volunteers repaired eleven items.
